Course LayoutBethlehem Country Club was designed in the days when hickory shafted clubs were the norm. At a little under 6000 yards BCC is a relatively short layout when compared to some of today's 7200-yard monsters. However, the small "Rossian" greens with their challenging topography provided plenty of challenges for the novice and expert alike.



BCC has hosted tournaments for the NHPGA, NHGHA and NHWGA. We are proud of our ability to offer a championship venue for the top levels of competition in our region, yet remain the type of playable golf course that the novice and purely recreational golfer can feel comfortable on. Outstanding playing conditions on a traditional, timeless design make for a memorable golf experience at Bethlehem Country Club.

The Mount Washington Course
One of America's most scenic, The Mount Washington Course was completed in 1915 under the personal supervision of legendary Scottish Architect, Donald Ross. Credited with the design of over 400 courses, Ross' most famous works include Seminole, Inverness, Oak Hill, the Broadmoor and his signature designs at Pinehurst. His layout here in Bretton Woods has hosted four New Hampshire Opens.

Nestled in the Ammonoosuc River Valley and surrounded by New England's highest peaks, The Mount Washington Course offers guests a challenging game in a magnificent setting.

Past Golf Professionals here have included such greats as Lawson Little, Bill Melhorn and T.V. commentator Dave Marr (the 1965 PGA Champion). Little (two-time U.S. and British Amateur Champ) was Pro at Bretton Woods when he won the 1940 U.S. Open in a play-off against Gene Sarazen.
